SENIOR INSTALLER

Local General Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Senior Installer to join our reputable, fast paced team. Applications will be accepted until Friday June 8th, 2018.  

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The senior installer will provide a vital role with Precision Contracting organization. This position is
responsible for the overall success and satisfaction of the installation of all products supplied by
Precision Contracting.

EXPECTATIONS    
These duties include (but not limited to);

  • The responsibility to show up on time & be prepared daily

  • To comply with company policy & procedures including health & safety requirements

  • To complete required training & yearly re-certifications

  • To maintain a valid Ontario Driver’s license

  • Complete a yearly background check

  • Work individually or within a team environment

  • Be available to work between Monday – Friday (ranging from 7 am – 6 pm)

  • Prepare project materials

  • Check work vehicle for safety

  • Travel to job sites with secure loads

  • Arrive on time & ready to complete daily work

  • Provide ongoing communication with the client & Project Manager/Project Coordinator

  • Provide updates to office & office staff

  • Provide solutions to daily project challenges & production logistics

  • Complete the project in a safe and timely manner

  • Complete the project according to work order specifications

  • Assistant in completion of project as per Project Manager & Project Coordinators directions

  • Report all client changes to project coordinator/project manager before completing task

  • Report any unsafe working conditions

  • Complete work orders and daily hour logs

  • Use tools & equipment in a safe manner

  • Support client, co workers, & work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years construction and building knowledge

  • Familiar with industry tools & equipment

  • Provide personal transportation to workplace  

  • Provide a yearly background check (paid by employer)

  • Completion of High School Diploma

  • WHMIS Training an asset

  • Working At Heights Training an asset

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

  • This position will include hours from Mon-Fri.

  • Seasonal contract with the opportunity for extension into the fall and winter months

  • Hourly based pay structure
